Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Fountain Pen Terra Di Siena
Homo Sapiens Lava Colour is a stunning oversize pen from Visconti, a welcome addition to the Homo Sapiens range. The barrel is made from resin combined with basaltic lava from Mt. Etna in Sicily, which renders the pen virtually unbreakable, and allows the introduction of subtle volcano-inspired colours.
Unlike the original Homo Sapiens pens, the cap has a magnetic catch fitting, but still features the sprung pocket clip. The trim is a dark, high-quality polished ruthenium which lends a stunning contrast.
The filling system is Visconti's High Vacuum Power Filler - from the top of the barrel unscrew the blind cap and withdraw the plunger; submerge the nib fully into the ink; press the plunger back down and count to ten; remove from the ink and screw the blind cap back down; blot the nib with tissue to remove excess ink.
14 carat gold nib, coated in ruthenium.
Supplied gift-boxed.
Customise this pen with the Visconti MPS System, adding initials, zodiac symbols or natural stones.
