International Orders

For orders placed through Global-e (orders going outside the UK, with order numbers beginning GE...), the returns process is slightly different. Global-e will guide you through the return steps to make things easier and provide tracking services directly [here]. They also have a helpful page of FAQs covering international shipping and returns. If you have questions about pens or any of our products, we're your best resource—Global-e knows international shipping, but we know pens! Please don't hesitate to ask us anything product-related.

UK Returns

To make returns easier for you, we’ve partnered with Royal Mail to handle returning items to us.

If you’ve simply changed your mind about what you bought, and want to return it for a refund or exchange, you can book the return directly through Royal Mail’s website. They’ll send you an email with a label that you can either print, or show at a Post Office when dropping your item off. £3.95 will be deducted from any refund to cover the cost of the return postage.

If there’s a problem with anything you’ve bought from us, the return works the same way, but we’d appreciate it if you could contact us first - some problems can be sorted out other ways, avoiding the need to return things. If you do need to return something, please include a note of why you’re returning it, and what you’d like us to do.

Cult Pens ‘Pre Loved’ Products

These items come with a clear description of any minor imperfections. You can return them in line with our standard returns policy; however, exchanges or nib swaps aren't available for pre-loved items. We appreciate your understanding.

Ordered the Wrong Item or Want an Exchange?

No worries at all, we're happy to assist. Simply send the item back with a note of your order number and what you'd like to exchange it for. We usually process exchanges within a couple of days of receipt and can debit or credit any price difference to your card. Please note that refunds for personalised products are only available if the product is defective, so please double-check your personalisation options before ordering. Thank you for choosing us!

Damaged or Defective Items

We know receiving a damaged or defective item can be stressful, and we're here to make it right. Please contact us before returning anything so we can minimize hassle for you. Many issues turn out to be simple fixes—just email us at help@cultpens.com, and we'll resolve your problem quickly. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Fountain Pen Nib Exchanges

Where alternative nib sizes are available, we can usually swap within 28 days of purchase if the returned nib is in perfect condition. Inking the nib is not a problem.
