Paper Mate
Paper Mate is one of the world's best-known pen brands - created in 1949 by the Frawley Pen Company, USA, for their new product, an instant-drying pen. The Paper Mate brand grew rapidly and in 1969 the famous pumping hearts logo appeared for the legendary PowerPoint refill. In 2000, Newell Rubbermaid acquired the Paper Mate brand from the Gillette Company and it now shares a home there with Parker, rotring, Sharpie, Waterman and Berol pens.
