Legami is a creative workshop in Italy, making beautiful stationery and lifestyle goods, inspired by travel and curiosity. Their products are set apart by the thought that's gone into every detail, and the care put into the quality of the materials and workmanship.
They produce a lot of novelty stationery. We love stationery. I mean, we would, really, we’re Cult Pens, of course we do. But we’ve often found quite limited appeal in novelty stationery. You know the stuff, the pens with cute animals on the end, multicolour pens with the end shaped like a unicorn. The problem is, these are usually novelty items first, and stationery second. A plastic bear that the company has stuck to the end of a bad pen. Which is why we love Legami so much. They’re a stationery company at heart, but they make pens with cute bears on the end, and rainbow multipens shaped like unicorns. But it’s all good quality.
And that makes all the difference - we love cute things, and when cute stationery is done well, it’s joyful.

What’s the history of Legami?
Legami was founded in 2003 and has their headquarters in Bergamo, Northern Italy. They started by selling book straps to tie your books together for easier carrying, and now they have more than 4000 products across all sorts of stationery types.
What makes Legami different?
Legami stationery is quirky Italian design at its best and cutest. They have loads of fun designs, from pencils with cute animal erasers on the end to rulers shaped like cat paws.
As a benefit corporation, they also take their social responsibility seriously. That means they are required to ensure a positive impact on their community and the wider environment; including using FCS-certified paper in their products, being carbon neutral since 2021, and supporting local teams and charitable organisations.
