Conté à Paris

Most famous for their pencils, Conté à Paris have been making graphite pencils since their founder first developed the mixture of graphite and clay that enabled pencils to be made in a variety of hardnesses or lead grades, in 1794. Their first factory was established in 1795.

They are still well known for their top quality artists' pencils, and other art materials.
