5.6mm lead is used in soft grades in large-sized pencils for expressive sketching and design work. The art bias of this lead means that we have options of soft graphite, charcoal, pastel and oil-based refills to fit our astonishing range of 5.6mm pencils. Note that we have included 5.5mm in this list as well. 5.5mm fits 5.6mm pencils, and works better in some semi-automatic ones (models that click-advance).
