Platinum #3776 Century Shape of a heart limited edition fountain pen with a ivorybarrel and rhodium trim. Two heart-shaped pieces, which are punched out to make the breather hole on the pen nib, are placed together with crystals in the dome in the top of the pen.
The Platinum #3776 Century range uses the new 'Slip and Seal' airtight cap. The innovative new screw-on cap system uses an inner plastic seal with a strong spring. The primary benefit of this system is improved storage ability - the ink will not dry out even if left for over a year. An added benefit is improved resistance to leaks due to pressure changes.
AS black resin barrel with rose gold-plated trim. Rose gold plated 14kt gold. The nib of the #3776 is a beautiful piece of work - made in-house at Platinum, and all are hand-tested at the factory.
Uses Platinum ink cartridges or fit a converter for use with bottled ink. Platinum recommends Platinum Fountain Pen Ink, though of course any quality bottled ink can be used. Slip and Seal cap pens are compatible with Platinum Carbon and Pigment inks for everyday use.
Weight 20.5g, 140mm long closed, 120mm open, 155mm posted. 15.4mm max. barrel diameter.
The #3776 name comes from the height in metres of Mt.Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
Supplied in a platinum gift box with a 700A converter, a 20ml bottle of Aurora Blue Ink and one blue black ink cartridge.
