Platinum Curidas

The Platinum Curidas is a retractable fountain pen - still a bit of a rarity. For the most part, you have to choose between the convenience of a retractable tip, and the nice smooth writing experience of a fountain pen. But the Curidas gives you both - a real fountain pen, with a quality nib, as you'd expect from Platinum; but also a simple push-button retracting mechanism, so you can pop that nib out whenever you need it.

If your pen use is mainly to sit down, write a page, than put the pen away, the usefulness of a retractable fountain pen might not be clear.
