Platinum Ink And Refills

Platinum are well known for their fountain pen inks, with some unusual options. Their standard fountain pen ink is, of course, very good, but few companies make permanent fountain pen ink. Platinum's Carbon Ink is highly permanent and pigmented, but with the pigment ground so finely that it's fairly safe in fountain pens - though some extra caution is advised, and we'd avoid using it in anything too valuable or irreplaceable. Their Classic inks are iron gall inks, which go down brightly coloured, but darken with time.

There's even the Mix Free range of inks, made to mix up your own colours, and cleaning products to help clean out stubborn ink from any pens.
