Montblanc's Around the World in 80 Days collection celebrates the classic adventure story by Jules Verne, which charted the epic journey undertaken by Phileas Fogg and his trusty sidekick, Passepartout.
The LeGrand Fountain Pen is finished in dark blue precious resin, and is inspired by the final part of the journey from Yokohama to London, via the United States. The cap design features pressure valves and billowing smoke of a locomotive, while the trim is adorned with a safety chain design, echoing the moment when Passepartout disconnects the train from the locomotive to save the crew. The clip features a red lacquered heart. The cap top pays tribute to the length of this journey - 36 days.
Fitted with a hand-crafted 14-carat gold medium nib inscribed with the famous hot air balloon and the journey's start and end dates.
Piston-filled fountain pen, refill using bottled ink. Supplied in a luxury gift box.
