Rhodia yellow paper head-stapled legal pad, A5 (148mm x 210mm). Coated card cover flips up and folds back out of the way. Card-backed notebook has 80 micro-perforated detachable sheets of top-quality 80gsm superfine yellow vellum paper. Orange cover with black Rhodia logo.
It's not known for sure why 'legal pads' have yellow pages; one theory is that the paper was stained one uniform colour to mask any imperfections (not a problem you'll find with this Clairefontaine paper) whilst another is that black writing is easier and less striking to read when written on yellow paper.
A5 version features squared paper only; see A4+ version for the classic lined and margined paper.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
