As Retro 51 puts it, 'Life is too short to carry an ugly pen'. And we agree. Their bright colours and cool designs have more than a hint of nostalgia about them, and all their pencils are made with good old-fashioned values in mind.
This Tornado Ballpoint features the image of a burrowing owl through a multi-step process. First the barrel has been acid-etched, followed by a copper plated finish, and finally it's printed with feathers and glow-in-the-dark eyes. With every purchase of this Tornado, Retro 1951 are making a donation to the Blackland Prairie Raptor Centre to help protect not only owls, but also raptors and their environments.
