As Retro 51 puts it, 'Life is too short to carry an ugly pen'. And we agree. Their bright colours and cool designs have more than a hint of nostalgia about them, and all their pencils are made with good old-fashioned values in mind.
For this latest addition to the Vintage Metalsmith collection Retro 51 takes a trip to Egypt to honour the legendary Cleopatra. She was the last ruler of the Macedonian dynasty that was in power when Egypt was annexed by Rome in 30 BCE. She was known for her intelligence and beauty, and this pen honours the incredible woman that she was. This beautiful design printed over a brass barrel with polished brass accents is inspired by what Cleopatra wore when she visited Rome, and her image adorns the top disc.
Each pen is packaged in a matching tube that doubles as a pen stand or carrying case when not in use.
