Model no. PTB-30000Z #95. Matt brushed black resin barrel with gold-plated trim. 14kt gold nib. '#3776' logo is engraved on the cap ring.
The nib of the #3776 is a beautiful piece of work - made in-house at Platinum, and all are hand-tested at the factory. This nib and feed is the same as that used in the legendary Nakaya Urushi pens.
Higo Zogan is a Japanese artform made by engraving detailed designs into an iron base and then adorning these patterns with gold. This method does not use any glazes or lacquers; instead the natural beauty of the iron and gold is emphasised.
Fine, medium and broad nibs available.
Unlike most of the #3776 Century range, this pen has a push-on cap, and does not have the 'Slip and Seal' cap fitting. Supplied with a converter for use with bottled ink. Platinum recommends Platinum Fountain Pen Ink, though of course any quality bottled ink can be used. Also takes Platinum ink cartridges.
Weight 20.6g, 140mm long closed, 120mm open, 155mm posted. 15.4mm max. barrel diameter.
The #3776 name comes from the height in metres of Mt.Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
Supplied in a luxury giftbox.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
