The design of the Onoto Magna Classic is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'.
Made from high density acrylic, this is a special University of Cambridge version. A satisfyingly robust pen, with the plain barrel nicely set off by gold-plated sterling silver trim in the form of 3 cap bands, a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Onoto logo, and a cap button featuring the university crest. The barrel is inscribed with 'Onoto the Pen' and 'Made in England'.
Fitted with an 18 carat gold Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
Available with two weight options: 25g or 32g. Use the drop-down list to select your preference.
Dimensions: closed 139mm, uncapped 122mm, posted 161mm.
