Montblanc's Great Characters series pays homage to this great band, with this special range of pens, which may have you thinking "I'm Going Slightly Mad, but I Want It All". Owning one could be A Kind of Magic, or even The Miracle. Beautiful pens that would fit in anywhere, from A Day at the Races to A Night at the Opera, they look like they were Made in Heaven.

Montblanc took inspiration particularly from the Greatest Hits II album, with the iconic blue and gold cover and the crest that's been engraved beautifully on the nib. Their instruments are featured on the resin body of the pen, microphone and bass on the cap, guitar and drum kit on the barrel. The finial is designed to resemble the volume and tone knobs on Brain May's guitar, while Freddie's crown inspired the cap top. And the clip is, of course, Freddie's mic stand, so often becoming his sceptre, or being played like a guitar alongside Brian.
