LEUCHTTURM1917 has always followed the principles of Bauhaus art - clean lines, functional design and bold colours - and they are commemorating 100 years of the movement with their range of Bauhaus-inspired notebooks and accessories.
As Bauhaus Director and pioneer of abstract art Wassily Kandinsky put it, 'Everything starts with a dot', and this quote is reproduced on the cover of the Bauhaus notebooks.
Sturdy hard cover with rounded corners, an expandable pocket in the cover, elastic fastener, 2 ribbon page markers and a thread-stitched inner book.
145 x 210mm size is quite pocketable yet large enough for thorough note-taking.
251 numbered pages with a blank table of contents. 12 sheets are perforated and detachable. The thread-binding ensures the book can open flat without pages becoming loose. Acid-free paper is 'ink-proof' and takes all types of pens very well. 80 gsm.
Also supplied are labels for cover and spine for easy filing when full.
Lemon yellow cover, black-edged pages and black dotgrid page layout.
