Iron gall inks from KWZ, in an impressive range of colours.
These iron gall inks are, as with all iron gall inks, very permanent. They darken on the paper as they dry and age. Unlike other iron gall inks, though, these are solutions, with no particles to clog your pen feed, and while the ink is still slightly acidic, they're less so than most. The result is a much safer iron gall ink, making them more practical for day to day use.
It should be noted, though, that these are still iron gall inks, so do need a bit more care than standard fountain pen inks. They should not be left in pens you're not going to use for a while, and flushing the pen through with water every so often would be a good idea.
KWZ Inks came about as the result of Konrad Zurawski, a graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology, following his passion for fountain pen inks, and making the products he wanted to see and use.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
