Herbin 350th Anniversary Ink Gift Set
Herbin started producing ink in 1670, making ink for King Louis XIV, the Sun King (or Le Roi Soleil) and other important French figures such as Victor Hugo (author of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "Les Miserables").
This special anniversary set commemorates 350 years of Herbin and contains a wax-capped 100ml bottle of one of the original 5 colours of Les Perles des Encres: Perle Noire, Bleu Myosotis, Rouge Caroubier, Vert Reseda and Violette Pensee, plus a china ink pot and an informative leaflet.
Herbin inks have long been a favourite of many fountain pen connoisseurs. Besides their wide range of colours, these inks are especially popular due to the use of entirely natural dyes. The use of these dyes mean that these inks are of a neutral pH (non-acidic), fast-drying and lightfast. Suitable for fountain pens, dip pens and brushes
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.75 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £4.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9.75, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
