Basic Ballpoint Pen from Faber-Castell. They may have named it 'Basic', but it sports a lot of features!
The ink is smooth-flowing and smudge-resistant, and it's document-proof too. The aluminium barrel gives it strength without adding to the weight, and the flexible pocket clip and push-button retract mechanism means it's safe to carry it around with you without fear of a cap falling off and staining your clothes with ink. What's more, the grip area is ridged and non-slip.
Refillable; medium tip; available in a small range of barrel colours.
