Conte a Paris was founded by Nicolas Jacques Conte who created the pencil as we know it by mixing graphite with clay and introducing the possibility of different degrees of hardness. Over the decades, the quality and depth of the Conte a Paris range has grown to offer a wide variety of techniques and effects that can be used for drawing, sketching and pastel work.
Carbon sketching pencil from Conte a Paris. Derived from tradtional charcoal but much stronger, this lead does not crumle or leave your hands dirty. Its delicate and highly detailed finish enables all types of perspectives to be drawn accurately.
Available in 2B, 2H, 3B, B, H and HB.

Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
UK Orders
FREE Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery for orders over £30, and just £3 for smaller orders. Tracked 24 is available as an option, for £2.50 on orders over £30, £5.50 on smaller orders. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day* available for £7.50, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
