Platinum Fude Brush Pen CFSW-300. Unusual double-ended pen, with two brush tips - grey at one end, and black at the other. The intricately-made tips are softer close to the end, and firmer towards the back, allowing for better control. They are also designed to give more ink flow at the tip than further back, making solid black (or grey!) strokes, shading expressively further from the tips, like a real brush.
Brush pens are often used in Japan for marking cards to go with gifts, and grey ink is considered more appropriate for sad occasions. Black and grey is a very handy combination to have together for many other uses, including shading and shadows in sketches, cartoons and caricatures.
Simple black barrel has glitter for added sparkle. Developed with famous Japanese calligrapher Souun Takeda.
