Metallic Pens

Metallic pens can be a nice way to add a bit of shine to your writing or drawing. Gold where you want to get fancy. Silver when you want some more understated shine, which often shows up well on light and dark surfaces. Bronze or other metallic colours too, when you want something a bit different.

Many metallic pens are paint markers, writing in an opaque metallic paint, which can usually mark almost any surface. Gel pens can be metallic too, though, and are a much easier choice if you’re going to be writing on paper - just as easy to use as any other gel pen, but with a bit of sparkle.
