See also: Big Grip Pens
Ergonomic pens have become a major product category in recent years. There are generally two varieties:
The widest range is that aimed at children starting on learning to write - these pens tend to have moulded grips which encourage correct posture. The proper grip when writing helps to ensure good letter formation and combats fatigue. There are now products spanning the whole age range from the very young to early teenage years.
The second category are simply pens with unusually-shaped grips or simple large soft grips which help anyone with grip problems, especially arthritis-related, to hold a pen or pencil more comfortably.
An important development in recent years that helps almost anyone with writing fatigue or cramp is the simple triangular grip. This is much less tiring to hold than the traditional cylindrical grip. We have a huge range of triangular grip pens and pencils, with something in almost every product category.
