Green ink has a bit of a reputation - it tends to be associated with letters to the editor, usually a bit unhinged and angry, signed something like "disgruntled of Tunbridge Wells". But that's a bit dated now. In these days of hundreds or even thousands of choices of inks for fountain pens, we like to think colour choices are a bit more open. And we love a bit of green ink.
It's also used in some schools now, as a less aggressive alternative to red ink for marking, while still standing out against more common ink colours.
