The kimono is Japan's national costume, worn during special occasions and festivals.
Sailor is celebrating the simple beauty of this traditional garment with a series of Professional Gear Slim fountain pens. Each delicately pretty pen is constructed from gold-trimmed resin and fitted with a 14 carat gold nib available in a range of sizes. The screw-on cap is topped with a Japanese motif and the cap ring is engraved with 'Sailor Japan founded 1911'.
The decorative technique of yuu-bi maki-e has been used to create the designs, which are floral and geometric representations of happiness, prosperity, longevity and protective charm.
Supplied in a smart gift box with a Sailor converter for use with bottled ink. Also takes Sailor ink cartridges.
Length capped: 124mm, uncapped: 110mm, posted: 144mm. Width: 17mm, 10mm at grip. Weight: 17g.
