S.T.Dupont began making luxury goods for travellers in Rue Dieu in Paris, in 1872. But it wasn't until 1973, at the request of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, that they made their first pen. With hindsight, it was probably an obvious thing to do. They were well respected for their lighters, which are a combination of precision mechanisms and jewellery-grade finishes, made to be stylish accessories. The same skills and craftsmanship translate perfectly to making pens.
The Sword collection is named for the well-known line in Edward Bulwer-Lytton's play Richelieu; or the Conspiracy: 'the pen is mightier than the sword'. The barrel, which tapers down to the grip area, features an articulated pocket clip shaped like a sword, complete with a 'D' style handle.
Bronze patina lacquered barrel trimmed with gold, fitted with a 14 carat gold nib. Refill with any bottled fountain pen ink using the supplied converter, or use standard pattern ink cartridges.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £40, and just £3 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £2.50 on orders over £40, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £7.50, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
