Retro 51 Tornado Ballpoint Pen Bat Rescue
As Retro 51 puts it, 'Life is too short to carry an ugly pen'. And we agree. Their bright colours and cool designs have more than a hint of nostalgia about them, and all their pencils are made with good old-fashioned values in mind.
A donation is made to Bat Conservation International for each of these pens sold. Pattern inspired by vintage wallpaper, featuring flying bats, moons and moths. Trim is stonewashed pewter, adding to the vintage look. Part of the Rescue collection, but less known to most of us than the previous Dogs and Cats. Bats are an important part of our ecosystem, and with so much harm being done to their natural habitats, they need a bit of help. Some people are put off by their leathery wings, but between those is a cute fuzzy little critter who just wants to keep the insect population around you under control, using their rather impressive sonar tricks.
