Montblanc is celebrating a trio of notable events that took place 100 years ago, in 1924: the Olympic Games in Paris; the first ever Winter Olympics, which was held in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc; and the launch of the legendary Meisterstück.
The Solitaire LeGrand fountain pen features a platinum-plated barrel and cap, which are engraved with a representation of the mountain landscape of the Chamonix valley. The cap is also stamped with 'Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924' and the cap ring is inscribed with 'Meisterstück' and both 1924 and 2024.
Features an 18 carat gold nib engraved with the outline of a ski jumper. Supplied in a fabric pouch with an explanatory booklet, and presented in a 'Chamonix 1924' themed gift box.
Refill with bottled fountain pen ink.
This pen has been produced in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee and forms part of the IOC's Olympic Heritage Collection.
