Neo Slim rollerball from Faber-Castell. Made from anodised aluminium, this is a slender pen with beautifully minimalist styling. Its metal construction makes it sturdy, and gives it a reassuring weight, withoug being too heavy. The sprung clip is nicely practical.
The cap posts securely, clicking onto the barrel if you like to write that way, though the barrel is quite long enough that it's not needed. The push-fit cap fits cleanly to the main barrel, without interrupting the straight lines.
Brushed finish to the barrel and cap, with a smooth matt finish for the pocket clip. 140mm long capped, 121mm uncapped, 155mm posted. 9mm wide, weighs 28g. Uses Faber-Castell's rollerball refill, and will also take the fineliner refill. Also compatible with many other 'euro format' refills, but not all - check with us if a specific refill is important to you, but Schmidt 888 and 5888 refills fit well if you need more choices of colours and tip sizes.
