The Sheaffer Legacy Chevron takes a classic silhouette and gives it a proper bit of attitude: an all-over chevron engraving in matte black, offset by PVD gunmetal trims for a bit of contrast and depth. It's a sculpted, well-balanced pen that reads as confident without shouting about it — the kind of thing that looks equally at home signing off a contract or scribbling a to-do list.
It's a ballpoint, fitted with a Sheaffer K-type medium refill in black, and turns via a soft twist mechanism rather than a cap. There's also a neat personalisation detail on the cap, showing through in a light grey. A nice touch if you like your stationery to have a little character.
