The design of the Onoto Magna Classic is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed 'the best fountain pen ever made'.
Onoto pens are on occasion designed to commemorate influential historical persons, institutions and other circumstances where a special pen would pay the perfect homage.
The Doctor's pen commemorates medical professionals the world over and is limited to 100.
Made from high density deep claret-coloured acrylic which has been polished to a glossy sheen, this is a satisfyingly robust pen, with 3 cap bands in sterling silver and gold-plate, and a pocket clip featuring the Rod of Asclepius. The Onoto log is featured on the cap button.
Fitted with an 18 carat gold Onoto size 7 nib, available in a range of sizes. Refill with widely-available standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit a converter (supplied with the pen) to use bottled ink.
Available with two weight options: 25g or 32g. Use the drop-down list to select your preference.
Dimensions: closed 139mm, uncapped 122mm, posted 161mm.
Supplied in a luxury polished wooden box.
