Conte a Paris was founded by Nicolas Jacques Conte who created the pencil as we know it by mixing graphite with clay and introducing the possibility of different degrees of hardness. Over the decades, the quality and depth of the Conte a Paris range has grown to offer a wide variety of techniques and effects that can be used for drawing, sketching and pastel work.
Graphite sketching pencil from Conte a Paris, smooth lead that won't scratch the surface when drawing. Ideal for detailed work. Round-bodied coated wood case barrels embossed with the Conte a Paris brand.
Available in a range of lead hardness: 3H, 2H, H, HB, B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B and 6B.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.95 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £4.95 on orders over £100, £5.95 on smaller orders.
