Retro 51 had some great pen designs, and some people do like to keep their pens in nice cases or sleeves. So they had the designs, and the need, but didn't know much about making pen sleeves. But they knew someone who did. Rickshaw. Rickshaw had started as a small bag company in San Francisco, but had already started making their own pen sleeves, which would work perfectly with Retro 51's designs on them.
So they worked together - Rickshaw make the sleeves, Retro 51 make the designs (or artists make designs for them). Match them or mix them, it's all good.
