For all the exciting new pens, pencils, inks and other stationery that we brought you in 2024, watch the whole video above - there's a lot, we're not quite sure how we did it either!
January brought Giotto and Omas - both Italian brands, but very different - Giotto for the kids, Omas for beautiful luxury pens. There were also lovely new pens from Kaweco - the Art Sport range.
February saw new Lamy Safari colours, Diarpell diaries and notebooks, and the Benu Viper, with a snake coiled around each pen. Then Platinum brought us the new Preppy Wa limited editions too!
In March, Pelikan released their new Edelstein ink - the very popular Golden Lapis. There were also new products from TWSBI, Kaweco, Legami and Sun-Star (the very well-received Metacil!).
In June, there was a new pen from Nahvalur, and a new brand - Writech. We also got our first look at Diamine's next Inkvent edition, which was pretty exciting, even if it was just the outside of the box!
August saw the launch of new British luxury brand Tom Hessin, made with top quality European resins.
In September there was new ink from Jacques Herbin; a Pelikan pen to go with the Golden Lapis ink; and the Laban Antique II, made from lovely recycled brass.
October was the London Pen Show, where we met many of you! It was also the spooky month, so there were a few Halloween specials. And the special limited edition Stabilo Boss X DOLCE&GABBANA highlighter set. Oh, and some new sets of POSCA markers!
November turned up next, suggesting the year might be getting towards its end. But it brought us a new exclusive colour from Toyo Steel. And the Cosmic Blue collection from Caran d'Ache. With the long nights, the King of the Night chose this as his moment. But Diamine struck back by celebrating their 160th anniversary with a set of inks based on their own history. And sticking with Diamine, we had our most popular exclusive yet, the Deadly Nightshade ink, shimmering, and with floating skulls.
