Montblanc is celebrating a trio of notable events that took place 100 years ago, in 1924: the Olympic Games in Paris; the first ever Winter Olympics, which was held in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc; and the launch of the legendary Meisterstück.
The Doué Classique ballpoint pen is blue-grey precious resin, inspired by the official colour of the 1924 Winter Olympics. The platinum-plated cap is stamped with 'Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924' and features an engraving of the mountain landscape of the Chamonix valley. The top of the cap is inscribed with the Olympic Rings, while the cap ring is inscribed with 'Meisterstück' and both 1924 and 2024.
Features a smooth twist-retract mechanism. Supplied in a fabric pouch with a Montblanc ballpoint refill and an explanatory booklet, and presented in a 'Chamonix 1924' themed gift box.
This pen has been produced in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee and forms part of the IOC's Olympic Heritage Collection.
