A perfect gift for an architect, the Makers Cabinet Architect Toolset comes with Makers Cabinet's Stria folding ruler, the Hovel pencil sharpener and an accompanying walnut base and 12 Blackwing X Makers Cabinet cedar wood pencils.
Makers cabinet's Stria Folding Ruler is made from brass with a hard-wearing brushed finish. Incredibly attractive, durable, and sturdy, this ruler has enough weight behind it to make sure it won't give way when you need that perfect line.
The Stria folding ruler features a one of a kind dovetail hinge, letting you feel the tactile feedback at 45 degree increments. The dovetail mechanism can also be adjusted to change the amount of resistance felt while in motion. The ruler measures in both metric and imperial measurements, with one side dedicated to each.
The sharpener can be adjusted thanks to the twisting mechanism on the back. This lets you adjust the sharpener to get a perfectectly pointed pencil to suit your own writing.
This acts more as a wood plane than a traditional twist sharpener, which can cause graphite leads to twist and break. The body is made from solid brass, giving it a good weight and because it's made from brass, it will age gain character over time.
The Makers Cabinet x Blackwing set of 12 pencils is a collaborative effort between Blackwing Pencils and Makers cabinet. Each pencil is made from an exposed incense-cedar casing with a subtle clear matte finish embellished with three shades of Makers Cabinet's own brand colours.
The rectangular eraser holder is a Blackwing signature. The pencils are fantastic to use with the Makers Cabinet Hovel pencil sharpener. The soft incense cedar wood glides across the plane and releases an aroma every time it is cut.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
