Esterbrook is one of the greatest names in American pen history. Founded in 1858, by their peak they were making 216 million pens a year. Unfortunately, as the market changed, Esterbrook went out of business in 1971. Now they're back, with the name brought back and the designs reinvented by Kenro Industries, who have plenty of experience of bringing back or continuing famous pen brands.
The Estie is inspired by Esterbrook designs from the 1930s, using some beautifully machined acrylics - the black is basic and understated, while the more colourful patterns are bright and eye-catching.
Sweet Dreams is one of the latter! Its multi-coloured barrel, a mix of every pastel you can think of, conjures up visions of old-fashioned sweet shops, where the shelves behind the counter were filled with all sorts of brightly-coloured sugary treats. But as it's supplied with a silk sleep mask, its name has probably more to do with somnolence than a sugar rush. With only 1,000 of these available worldwide, the barrel is made from Diamondcast resin, giving it a very subtle sparkle.
It's fitted with a gold-plated steel nib available in a range of sizes. Refill with bottled ink or international standard sized cartridges.
149mm long capped, 130mm uncapped, 172mm posted. Weighs 24g. Supplied in a gift box with a sleep mask (of course) and a converter for use with bottled ink.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
