Retro51's Rescue Series has a habit of making pens that are hard to walk past, and the Wolf Rescue is no exception.
The Tornado™ ballpoint wraps staggered wolf illustrations around the barrel in black and white, finished with Black Stealth trims for something that manages to feel both bold and a little sleek. And then the lights go out, because yes, it glows in the dark. We're not going to pretend that's not a selling point.
Writing-wise, the knurled twist-top reveals Retro51's Easy Flow ballpoint refill, which does exactly what it says. Smooth, reliable, no complaints. The pen sits nicely in the hand too, with enough weight to feel substantial without tiring you out mid-journaling session.
The bit we really like, though: a portion of every Wolf Rescue sold goes to the Wolf Conservation Center in New York, supporting wolf conservation, education, and protection. A pen that does something useful in the world. We're always here for that.
