This one's got a bit of a story behind it. The cover is Spanish bonded leather fibre — not full leather, but genuinely convincing stuff, with the same rich colour and warmth you'd want, plus rather better resistance to scuffs and fading than the real thing. There's even a nod to Spanish heritage in the logo, set in a reissued font that traces back to a 1780 edition of Don Quixote overseen by the Royal Spanish Academy. Properly nerdy detail, and we're here for it.
Inside, Midori have given you two paper types to play with: white pages ruled in wide 6mm sections for daily lists and schedules, and cream pages left blank for sketching or whatever else takes your fancy. Both are genuine MD paper, so expect that lovely smooth, ink-friendly writing surface Midori's known for.
An elastic band keeps everything shut when you're not using it, and there's a mat tucked behind the last page so you can write right to the final sheet without the band getting in the way. Small touch, but a thoughtful one.
