A very special, and very limited edition of the LAMY Dialog 3, hand decorated by acclaimed urushi craftsman Manfred Schmid. Years of experience with this Japanese lacquer and its associated techniques have led Manfred to new and experimental methods of applying it. Like the traditional Japanese ways, though, these processes take many stages, with long drying processes between. This means each pen is painstakingly made to order, with a limit of 20 of each being made.
This does, unfortunately, mean your order will take 2-3 months to arrive, as the pen is hand made for you. Orders can't be cancelled once we place the order with Lamy, as work will begin on your pen straight away. But the result will be LAMY's finesse engineering, coupled with some of the world's best award-winning artistry with this beautiful lacquer.
LAMY dialog 3 metal fountain pen with a twist-action retractable nib.
Fully-retracting nib hides behind a secure valve seal. Sprung clip partially retracts into the body as the nib extends to facilitate a comfortable writing experience. Gold-plated pocket clip. Bi-colour 14-carat gold nib. 13.5mm wide, and weighs 46g.
Twist the barrel clockwise to extend the nib and anti-clockwise to retract. Once the nib has been fully retracted the barrel can be unscrewed to refill using bottled ink using a Z27 converter, or LAMY ink cartridges.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
