Colorverse inks are made in Korea from plant-based pigments, resulting in amazingly vivid colours that are pH neutral and quick-drying. Their numerous collections are all inspired by the natural world, both down here on Earth and up there in space. The packaging is second to none, with close attention to illustrative detail, and beautifully-shaped glass bottles.
This is a stand-alone set, outside of the usual Colorverse collections. The 65ml bottle is accompanied by a smaller 15ml bottle, which contains the same colour, but is what Colorverse describes as 'glistening': it contains tiny particles to make the ink shine. It's most effective with a minimum of a medium nib, and while safe to use in fountain pens, it would be a good idea to flush out after use. Both feature the uniquely-shaped Colorverse design: a rounded bottle with a teardrop-shaped base. A rubber seal incorporated into the lid keeps the ink safe.
