Each limited edition of Graf von Faber-Castell's Pen of the Year commemorates a culture that has inspired and shaped the history of humankind. They are not only pens, but remarkable works of art.
The Pen of the Year 2017 is inspired by the Vikings, ruthless invaders, but also valued traders, with a trading network spanning continents.
Platinum-plated barrel features thin strips of curly birch wood inlaid, along with Viking patterned panels. "Graf von Faber-Castell" is engraved around the blind cap in runes. A beautifully cut red carnelian quartz is set into the cap end.
The nib is a magnum size, in 18-carat bicolour gold, in a choice of sizes.
The pen is presented in a luxurious wooden gift box, designed to match the pen's styling, and has space for six more pens inside.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.

FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.95 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £4.95 on orders over £100, £5.95 on smaller orders. Express available for £9.95, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
