Glass markers are fantastic, versatile pens for writing on glass, decorating glass or glazed ceramic objects. POSCA Paint markers are some of the best glass markers around, with a wide range of tip sizes and over 30 colours available in some sizes. POSCA acrylic paint can be removed from glass, but to make permanent simply bake the object in an oven at 160°C for 45 minutes. Optionally, spray with clear varnish after baking for a final finish.
Another common use for these is writing on glass boards, often with a light inside for a glowing sign board, used for menus in restaurants and cafes. For this, look for chalk markers - they write in chalk, which can be cleaned off again when it's time to update, but work on glass with a nice solid line, unlike dry chalk. Again, Uni have good chalk markers, and the Schneider Deco Marker is a popular choice.
