Blue Black Ink Pens

A classic choice - different, but not too different. Blue-black has long been a popular choice for fountain pen ink - it's an elegant colour which lends instant sophistication to your thoughts. In fountain pen ink terms it's usually a simple mixture of blue and black, and blue-black ink lines tend to show an interesting variegation in colour. Some Blue-Black inks are more of an unsaturated grey-blue, taking their inspiration from old iron gall inks. There are now a number of rollerball pens featuring blue-black or variations. We like these dark blues so much we used them for our logo, and now we even have a Diamine ink to match, so if you use a fountain pen, you can fill it with Cult Pens Deep Dark Blue Ink.
