Brought to you as part of our birthday celebrations, Violet Parrot is a vibrant purple ink and the latest addition to Octopus' Write and Draw series, available exclusively at Cult Pens.
Specialists in all things ink, Octopus Fluids are a German ink producer based in Dresden, Germany. They were founded in 2011 but their roots go back to 1826 under the August Leonhardi and Baroque brand, who were producers of traditional Saxon ink.
Thankfully, their inks aren't actually made from octopus fluids, your favourite inky invertebrates are safe. They do offer a massive range of inks suitable for any occasion or ink-based hobby though.
The Write and Draw inks from Octopus offer a great tool for ink-based art and writing. This is pigmented ink and while it is suitable for writing in most fountain pens too, we would suggest flushing your pen after use to avoid any issues and would advise against using in expensive or sentimentally valuable pens.
The inks are high quality water-based, pigmented, lightfast ink which is completely waterproof and smudge-proof once dry. In addition to this, all the Write & Draw inks are completely vegan friendly.
Provided in a round 50ml bottle.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.
FREE Royal Mail Standard delivery for orders over £100, and just £3.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Priority is available as an option, for £3.50 on orders over £100, £5.50 on smaller orders. Express available for £9, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery. Prices and payment methods will reflect your country, and many countries have all taxes and duties included to make things easier and more predictable.
For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
