LAMY
The highly-regarded LAMY pen brand is an independent family firm established in 1930 in Heidelberg, Germany, and renowned worldwide for their high quality, modern designs.
At Cult Pens, we stock a huge range of LAMY fountain pens, ballpoint pens, rollerball pens, mechanical pencils, and even the LAMY plus range of wooden pencils, rarely seen outside Germany.
The LAMY brand was established in 1952 with the innovative LAMY 27 pen. In 1966 LAMY's reputation for design was cemented with the iconic lamy 2000 fountain pen. LAMY has become a market leader in Germany and enjoys global renown as an influential German design brand. The safari is the most popular of their wide range of styles and is a great example of LAMY design at an affordable price, and has become one of the most popular fountain pens in the world. The vast majority of LAMY fountain pens feature inexpensive replacement nibs available in a wide range of sizes. LAMY also feature an unusually-wide range of multi-function pens.
Every year, LAMY's special editions are hugely popular, especially special limited-time releases of new colours for the safari and AL-star pens, often with matching inks.
Most of LAMY's pens are collaborative works, with respected industrial designers, usually those with a reputation for simple and minimalist design, especially those connected to or inspired by the German Bauhaus design movement.
