These are sticky notes, but thought about a bit differently. Yes, you can use them like any other, for quick notes to stick wherever they're needed. But they have a special trick - they're translucent. Stick them on a page, and you can still see what's under them. That makes them perfect for adding notes to pages in a book where you still need to see what the note is covering.
Also, the film material is stronger, and there's a much larger area of adhesive, so they stay put better, but with low-tack adhesive so they can still be removed cleanly when you need to.
