The perfect accessory for the Limited Edition Retro 51 War of the Roses Fountain Pen, this fabric pen sleeve is made by the wonderful people over at Rickshaw Bags in San Francisco.
The York pens and sleeves have been inspired by ’The Cousins War’ which happened over 600 year ago- otherwise popularly known as the 'War of the Roses’.
The War of the Roses lasted over 30 years and was part of one of the longest civil in English history. These wars were fought between supporters of two rival branches of the royal House of Plantagenet, the House of Lancaster (who used a Red Rose emblem) and House of York (who used a White Rose).
The fight was for control of Henry VI, but later became a struggle for the throne itself after Henry VI died with no living heir. Both houses believed their claim to the throne to be stronger than the other.
Rickshaw was founded in 2007 and has been 'sewing strong' ever since. In their own words, they take inspiration from urban mobility, distinguished by simple, functional design, and high-quality materials and construction.

Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will normally be sent out the same day.

FREE Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery for orders over £30, and just £3 for smaller orders. Tracked 24 is available as an option, for £2.50 on orders over £30, £5.50 on smaller orders. Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day* available for £7.50, or FREE with any order over £400. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!
International
International deliveries vary in cost, so you'll need to add the items you want to your basket, and enter the checkout to see the options for delivery.
