The nibs are designed to be swapped and as such, the nib is easily detachable. Simply screw it on and off. It doesn't have a cap but that detachable nib is able to be reversed and stored inside the barrel of the pen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inside is hollow and while you're probably thinking that's a clever way to fill the pen, no, no it isn't. The design of the barrel is to keep it nice and light weight but it cannot be filled with ink. This is a dip pen and cannot be fitted with a cartridge or filled.
